Coated Pink Diamonds being sold as natural in Australia

The DCLA is still receiving a large amount of undisclosed treated diamonds for certification and verification.

Most of these stones are coming in from the public who purchased them as natural.

In some cases the stones are accompanied by in house, or so called independent valuations.

This in laymen’s terms, this unethical and in some cases fraudulent practice is “ the selling of treated, enhanced or synthetic diamonds. Without disclosure”.

All efforts to educate the trade and the public in Australia is futile if there is a lack of industry ethics.
